Animals at Events
All activities or special events involving the Use of live animals require submission of the Use of Animals in Special Events form.
This form must be completed and submitted to the Office of Risk Management for review, routing, and approval by appropriate campus offices and staff.
The use of animals in an academic or research program at Iowa State University is subject to approval through the Institutional Animal Care and Use Committee (IACUC). The institutional official is the Vice President for Research and Economic Development (Vice Provost).
Organizations wishing to offer a petting zoo should note the ISU Petting Zoo Requirements.
